Senior Meals are held the 1st Saturday of every month.
Welcome to Altamahaw Baptist Church's Senior Ministry Page. Our goal is to promote our Senior's of the church who have been so faithful throughout the years. It is an honor and privilege to have so many wonderful men and women that are in their golden years. To God be the Glory for putting these fine people in our church.
Each one has learned to give God his or her best and realizes that God will take care of them. Our Senior's cling to Hebrews 13:5 "I willl never leave thee, nor forsake thee." because they know "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever." (Hebrews 13:8) Let us always learn from and respect our golden age ministry.
The Senior Ministry is always having a fun time of fellowship and growing in the Lord. Many opportunities are available at the church for service.
Normally each month the Senior Ministry has a fellowship and food time which falls on the 1st Saturday Evening of the month. The Seniors also take a yearly trip to the Mountains of North Carolina. The Seniors also participate in a Senior's Day every year here at the church where we honor our Seniors by having them lead all our church services for that specific day. This ministry seeks out to meet the needs of all our Seniors plus to learn from our Seniors who have been "faithful" throughout the years. We would love to have you join our Senior Ministry all you need to do is come to church or contact our Senior Ministry Committee.

It is important to always remain faithful until our Lord Jesus Christ and the longer we serve Him the more we can grow in Him. Job 32:7 says "I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom."
